Vanderbilt University Medical School Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, Dr. Justin Godown was selected to present his research team’s findings related to studies entitled “Left ventricular strain parameters in pediatric heart transplant recipients” and “Changes in pediatric heart transplant costs over time” for the moderated poster session on the first evening of the Seattle Pediatric Heart Transplant Summit on Sunday, Sept 17, 2017.

The invitation to present is in addition to previous poster sessions Dr. Godown conducted at the 2017 ISHLT Annual Meeting where he presented his findings from a research study entitled “2D speckle tracking echocardiography for non-invasive surveillance of rejection and coronary disease in pediatric heart transplant recipients”. Dr. Godown also reports that there may be as many as two more manuscripts that may be published from the findings of these studies!

Enduring Hearts applauds the efforts of Dr. Godown and his team, as they exemplify and carry out the mission of our organization!
